The time duration of CEED examination is three hours and is divided into two parts:
Part A
Visual Perception and Creative Ability Test to judge Visual sensitivity and imagination
Part B
• Written Communication
• Candidate must be able to write his/her view on a given topic
• He/she must able to understand a given topic and summarize it
Design Aptitude
Additionally, the aptitude of candidate for development of new product/visual concepts and creative ideas based on analytical observation of problems from daily life situations is checked. How the aspirant showcases the product concepts in accordance to small and large scale production, how they produce solutions in a process like sheet metal work wood fabrication, plastic moulding, wire fabrication aided with drawing and illustrations on their analysis shows their aptitude.
